Enjoying Your Mayan hammock

multicoloured Mayan hammock

This hammock is handcrafted by native Mayans that still weave the way they’ve done for centuries. It is hand woven to perfection so that it will mold to any body shape and support the entire body in weightlesness.

This Mayan hammock is tighly woven with a thicker rope so it is more durable than others on the market. The 100% cotton rope also prevents the hammock from tangling itself, which often happens with cheaper hammocks made of nylon. This is an original imported Mayan hammock, featured here at an unbeatable price and quality!

How to hang your Mayan hammock

Grandma sent the hammock,

The good Lord sent the breeze,

I’m here to do the swinging,

Now, who’s gonna move the trees ?

Luckily, we have anticipated the fact that you may not have two trees close together for hanging!

The hammock ends have a threaded nylon loop for durability and ease of use. You will need to hang the hammock with ropes and/ or hooks. Our hammock hanging hardware kit comes with your Mayan hammock order free of charge. We recommend a space of 11 to 14 feet to hang it properly. The hooks should be put between 5-7 feet high depending on the length, and you can place your hooks in a ceiling, wall, tree or any other firm support.

Included is full set of instructions on how to hang and use your new hammock. Mayan Hammocks are beautiful, have a cultural significance and are part of the history of Central America. Get an authentic one today!

“One of the things I really like about the Mayan style hammock is how secure it is – unlike the spreader-bar style, I never feel like I might fall or flip out of the hammock, even when getting in and out. I also like how the woven-string design supports the body more evenly and comfortably than the big ropes on our old spreader-bar hammock.
You will not regret this purchase if you love spending long lazy summer days swaying gently in the shade with a few of your favorite people!”
